Job Overview:
We are looking for dynamic and detail-oriented professionals to join our Medical Coding team. As a Medical Coder specializing in Risk Adjustment, you will be responsible for reviewing patient records and applying accurate ICD-10-CM codes in line with CMS and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with CMS guidelines and company protocols.
Analyze and code diagnoses using ICD-10-CM for HCC/Risk Adjustment.
Extract relevant clinical information from medical documents.
Support audit processes and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
Coordinate with Team Leads and QA teams to resolve coding-related queries.
Required Skills:
Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Strong analytical thinking and effective communication.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding principles and guidelines.
Certified coders (CPC/CRC) or those trained in medical coding are strongly encouraged to apply.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
CPC, CRC, or similar certification is preferred.
Experience:
0 to 2 years of experience in medical coding (Risk Adjustment preferred).
